Hand Turned Walnut Woodcarver’s Mallet

I have a limited number of hand turned walnut woodcarver’s mallets available.  These mallets are well balanced and turned to fit an adult male hand.  Each had been carefully made here in my own woodshop, and more will only be available when I can get more walnut wood.  These particular specimens are turned from the branches of a walnut tree, and the grain and any nots will match what’s expected from such.  Any knots are only sold if the wood is stable and looks reliable for at least a year’s worth of intended service.  The finish is boiled linseed oil and beeswax and easy to touch up at home.
