Garden Tilling

Posted on 29 April, 2026 by The Lord of The Manor

I got a bit of time yesterday to get the tiller on the tractor, and get it greased up and ready to run. So I put a shallow till on the pen where the llamas used to live and will work as a little garden to put in some corn and pumpkins this year, as well as a couple of other vegetables.

The grass is growing up already on the farm, and the weather has been supportive of that, but it is mysterious and confusing this year. It has been warmer than ever this winter, and spring has come in both warm, and yet cold enough to prevent planting out. The ground has not been dry enough to till properly. But I will fit that in soon since the tractor is ready to just drive in and get it.
